Lemon, bergamot, lime and orange arrive as a brilliant citrus chord. Tarragon threads a cool green tension through the brightness, keeping the opening sharp, aromatic and dramatically poised.

A TRIBUTE TO ARTISTIC AUDACITY, STAGED AS SCENT
Diaghilev behaves like an opening night built at impossible scale. Lemon, bergamot, lime and orange strike through aromatic tarragon; blackcurrant and peach then draw a vivid line through an extravagant floral ensemble. Patchouli, oakmoss, leather, resins, woods and animalic warmth gather underneath until the composition feels less like a perfume than a complete theatre of texture, colour and shadow.
A theatre of citrus, flowers, velvet, moss and polished shadow.

THREE MOMENTS, ONE EVOLVING SCENT
Every stage remains visible on every device. Select a note to see its context inside the composition.

Lemon, bergamot, lime and orange arrive as a brilliant citrus chord. Tarragon threads a cool green tension through the brightness, keeping the opening sharp, aromatic and dramatically poised.

Rose de Mai, Jasmin de Grasse, tuberose and ylang ylang unfold at full volume. Heliotrope and violet soften the light while blackcurrant buds and peach introduce a dark, almost lacquered fruitiness.

Spice darkens the floral-fruit heart before patchouli and oakmoss establish the chypre structure. Woods, balsams, orris, labdanum and leather build a deep stage; musk, ambergris and animalic facets leave the curtain vibrating long after the performance.

THE MIND BEHIND DIAGHILEV
Roja Dove originally created Diaghilev in connection with the Victoria and Albert Museum exhibition devoted to Sergei Diaghilev and the Ballets Russes. Rather than translating that world through one decorative motif, he composes at theatrical scale: a large cast of materials, deliberate contrasts and a classical chypre foundation shaped to feel flamboyant, cultured and unmistakably present.
“too decadent to be forgotten.”
