Jérôme Epinette built Fleur Burlesque around a genuinely creamy gardenia-jasmine accord, inspired by a Belle Époque performer alive in the spotlight rather than a quiet domestic florals. Sandalwood adds a lactonic smoothness through the heart before amber settles it into something warmer and more theatrical than a typical white floral.

THREE MOMENTS, ONE EVOLVING SCENT
Gardenia leads with real richness and sweetness, closer to the actual flower's velvety texture than a soapy floral abstraction, while jasmine adds its characteristic sparkle and a touch of indolic warmth. Wearers consistently note the gardenia here as unusually well-rendered.
Sandalwood is the whole heart stage on its own, and it works less as a distinct woody note than as a texture — a lactonic, velvety smoothness laid underneath the florals, softening any sharper edges from the gardenia and jasmine above it.
