Fruit arrives first, dark and a little bruised.
Fig opens things with a green, milky snap before lychee turns it juicy and faintly rosy. Raspberry and cassis pull the accord darker — more bramble than candy, closer to fruit skin than fruit juice.

SECTION 01 · PORTRAIT
Elysium Absolue takes the rose the original Elysium only gestured at and puts it at the centre. Fig, lychee and blackcurrant sharpen the top before rose absolute and orris butter settle into something velvety rather than sweet. Sandalwood and ambergris carry it into a long, skin-warm finish.
Less an eau de parfum than a rose absolute wearing gourmand fruit as ornament.

THREE MOMENTS, ONE EVOLVING SCENT

Fig opens things with a green, milky snap before lychee turns it juicy and faintly rosy. Raspberry and cassis pull the accord darker — more bramble than candy, closer to fruit skin than fruit juice.

Rose absolute arrives dense and a little damp, like petals still wet from watering. Ylang ylang and tuberose thicken it further, while neroli keeps one corner of the accord bright enough not to collapse into syrup.

Orris butter smooths the rose into powder as sandalwood and patchouli build a low, textured floor beneath it. Ambergris and musk push the accord close to skin, while a co-distilled elemi-orange material adds a faint, sparkling gourmand lift under the pepper.
FROM FIRST SPRAY TO LATE DRYDOWN
Dark, juicy fruit opens before the rose arrives.
A dense, damp rose takes over the whole accord.
Powdery orris softens the rose into something worn.
A warm, close-to-skin trail carries the rose the longest.

JULIE LERENDU BUILDS THE ROSE THE WHOLE FRAGRANCE ANSWERS TO
Julie Lerendu, working with Robertet, centres Elysium Absolue on a rich rose absolute rather than treating rose as one note among many. Orris butter and a soft white-floral bouquet keep that rose from turning sharp, while fig, lychee and cassis give the opening real bite before it settles.
“I imagined a velvety dark rose garden enveloped in an addictive scent.”
