THREE MOMENTS, ONE EVOLVING SCENT
A cognac accord opens the fragrance, built to read like the essence of aged brandy rather than raw alcohol — warm, rounded and faintly sweet, with the natural caramel-amber color of the spirit itself carried into the composition.
Oak absolute brings the dry, resinous character of the barrel itself, while cinnamon adds a warm, faintly sweet spice. Together they read as the exact accord the fragrance is named for — the scent of spirit slowly aging inside charred wood.
Tonka bean absolute brings a coumarin-rich, hay-like sweetness that reads close to praline, while sandalwood smooths the composition into a creamy, rounded finish. The drydown stays warm and gourmand rather than heavy, lingering close to skin for hours.

KILIAN HENNESSY'S MOST PERSONAL CREATION, BROUGHT TO LIFE BY A DROM SENIOR PERFUMER
Benoist Lapouza, a senior perfumer at Drom since 2014, collaborated directly with Kilian Hennessy on Angels' Share — a fragrance inspired by Hennessy's own eighth-generation inheritance in Hennessy cognac-making. Originally trained as a cellist, Lapouza moved into perfumery under Pierre Bourdon, working at Takasago and Quest before Drom.
There's a real technical precision to how the cognac accord is built here — it reads as composed and intentional, not just a boozy note bolted onto a gourmand base.
