THREE MOMENTS, ONE EVOLVING SCENT
The opening arrives with breadth rather than sharpness. Mandarin and orange feel juicy and golden, grapefruit contributes a clean bitter sparkle, and petitgrain threads green leaf and twig through the fruit. Ylang ylang rises above them with creamy yellow petals, turning the citrus rush into something exuberant and dressed.
The heart feels like shade beneath flowering branches after the heat of the opening. Orange blossom and neroli retain a bright citrus-floral pulse, Indian jasmine adds creamy depth and cherry blossom brings a delicate pink airiness. Orris is the distinctive counterpoint: cool, powdery and faintly metallic, casting mauve light across the bouquet.
The base rounds Valiant without dimming it. Sandalwood gives the composition a creamy wooden frame, while amber and vanilla extend its sunlit warmth.
