SECTION 01 · PORTRAIT
The flower they warned you about.
Tuberose has a reputation. It can go heavy, waxy, even a little funeral. Aldebaran doesn't dodge that — it leans into the flower's full weight and then argues with it. Paprika shows up almost immediately, dry and reddish, like someone ground pepper over a bowl of cream. Mate follows with a bitter, leafy green that keeps cutting back in whenever the tuberose starts to feel too soft. By the time tonka bean settles everything down, what's left on skin is warmer and quieter than the opening promised — closer to a worn cashmere sweater than a bouquet.
The spice doesn't sit on top of the tuberose. It argues with it, the whole way down.
