Wūlóng Chá opens with bergamot, orange, litsea and mandarin — sharp, green and citrus-forward. Oolong tea and nutmeg build a smoky, faintly nutty heart, before fig and musk settle the composition into a soft, milky drydown that stays close to skin for hours, well suited to warm weather.
It reads as one of the more genuinely tea-like fragrances out there — the oolong isn't just a marketing word here, it actually shows up mid-wear.

THREE MOMENTS, ONE EVOLVING SCENT
Bergamot and orange open sparkling and juicy, while litsea adds a lemony, slightly peppery green lift. Mandarin softens the sharper citrus edges without adding real sweetness — the whole opening stays crisp rather than fruity.
Oolong tea brings genuine roasted, slightly milky tea character — smoky rather than green or grassy. Nutmeg adds a warm, faintly peppery spice that keeps the tea accord from reading as flat or one-note.
Fig brings a green, sap-like milkiness rather than a sweet fruity accord, echoing the tea's own creamy facets. Musk smooths the whole composition into a clean, soft finish that sits close to skin through the drydown.

Jorge Lee is credited by both Nishane and Fragrantica as the perfumer behind Wūlóng Chá, part of the brand's first-ever global collection launched in 2015. He is also documented as the perfumer behind Nishane Hacivat, and was profiled in Istanbul as chief perfumer at MG International in 2020.
There's a restraint here that lets the tea note actually read as tea, rather than drowning it in citrus or sweetness the way many 'tea fragrances' do.
