SECTION 01 · PORTRAIT

A cocoa smoke accord built from co-distilling tobacco and dark chocolate together.

Tobacco Chocolat is built around Tom Ford's exclusive Cocoa Smoke accord — tobacco leaves and dark chocolate co-distilled together rather than simply blended, so the two read as one fused material from the start. Orange and Akigalawood open it brightly, dark chocolate and cacao thicken the heart, and patchouli, Peru balsam and tobacco leaf close it into something dense, resinous and unmistakably Tom Ford.

Tobacco and chocolate distilled together until neither one is the guest.

THREE MOMENTS, ONE EVOLVING SCENT

See how the fragrance changes.

Atmospheric interpretation of it opens brighter than the name suggests.
00:00 — ORANGE AND AKIGALAWOOD

It opens brighter than the name suggests.

Orange essence arrives first, genuinely bright and citrusy, with Akigalawood's dry, spiced woodiness right behind it. This opening doesn't hint at gourmand yet — it reads closer to a sharp, aromatic wood accord before anything sweet shows up.

BRIGHTCITRUSWOODY
Atmospheric interpretation of the cocoa smoke accord takes over.
00:30 — DARK CHOCOLATE AND CACAO

The Cocoa Smoke accord takes over.

Dark chocolate and cacao arrive dense and bittersweet, not sugary — this is Tom Ford's proprietary Cocoa Smoke accord, built by co-distilling tobacco leaves and dark chocolate together rather than simply layering the two. The result reads as one fused, smoky-sweet material rather than a chocolate note sitting next to a tobacco note.

COCOABITTERSWEETSMOKY
Atmospheric interpretation of it settles into something dense and resinous.
03:00 — TOBACCO, PATCHOULI AND BALSAM

It settles into something dense and resinous.

Tobacco leaf, patchouli and Peru balsam close the composition into a warm, resinous drydown, with Ambrofix adding a soft, modern amber undertone beneath everything. This stays dense and skin-close rather than sweet — the chocolate never fully takes over.

DANIELA ANDRIER FUSES TOBACCO AND CHOCOLATE INTO ONE MATERIAL

The perfumer behind the portrait

Daniela Andrier, a Givaudan Master Perfumer whose work spans Prada, Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent, built Tobacco Chocolat around a technical signature: co-distilling roasted tobacco leaves with dark chocolate rather than blending the two as separate notes. Orange and Akigalawood brighten the opening, but the fragrance's identity rests entirely on that fused Cocoa Smoke accord.

“An innovative co-distillation of roasted tobacco leaves and dark chocolate.”
